SYCODE updates AutoCAD plug-ins to support AutoCAD 2007
Panaji - 17th May, 2006 - SYCODE today released updates to
3DM Import for AutoCAD and Terrain for AutoCAD, its AutoCAD
plug-ins. Apart from making minor modifications and big fixes, the main
highlight of these updates is the support added for AutoCAD 2007.
"The delay in adding support for AutoCAD 2007 was due to the change
in technology used in developing plug-ins for AutoCAD 2007",
explains Deelip Menezes, proprietor of SYCODE. "Unlike earlier
updates, this time around, we had to do a major overhaul of the source
code so that it was compliant with Visual Studio 6.0, Visual Studio .NET
2002 and Visual Studio .NET 2005, all at the same time."
With this update SYCODE's AutoCAD plug-ins work with AutoCAD 2000,
2000i, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006 and now 2007. As long as it is technically
possible and feasible, SYCODE will develop, sell and support plug-ins
for AutoCAD 2000 onwards.
