SYCODE releases Terrain for AutoCAD 1.1 minor upgrade
Panaji - 21st Nov, 2005 - SYCODE today released a minor
upgrade for Terrain for AutoCAD, the terrain modeling plug-in for
AutoCAD.
"The
previous version (1.0) was designed to create a terrain mesh from a set
of unorganized points", explains Deelip Menezes,
proprietor of SYCODE.
"Customers requested us to add support for curves (lines, polylines
and splines),
so that the plug-in could create a terrain mesh directly from contours, feature
lines, breaklines, etc. The result is this minor upgrade (1.1)."
Besides adding support for curves, this version encapsulates various bug
fixes and enhancements, including a more efficient method of removing
duplicate points and a faster and more robust triangulation algorithm.
