VTK Import for SolidWorks - Vizualization Toolkit VTK file import add-in

This is the VTK Import for SolidWorks ReadMe file.
VTK Import for Solid Edge is an add-in for SolidWorks
Installation:
=============
The installer adds VTK Import for SolidWorks to the list of available add-ins installed for SolidWorks. To verify whether VTK Import for SolidWorks has been properly loaded into SolidWorks invoke the "Add-In Manager" by clicking on the "Applications" menu, then "Add-Ins" and finally "Add-In Manager". Verify that "VTK Import for SolidWorks" is present in the list of "Available Add-Ins" and make sure that its check box is checked.
If "VTK Import for SolidWorks" cannot be found in the list of "Available Add-ins", then you will have to manually load the add-in into the SolidWorks environment. This can be done by closing all SolidWorks sessions and clicking the "Manually Load Add-in" shortcut placed in the Start Menu (Start -> Programs -> SYCODE -> VTK Import for SolidWorks -> Manually Load Add-in".
Now VTK Import for SolidWorks is ready for use.
Usage:
======
VTK Import for SolidWorks adds new commands to SolidWorks. It also adds a submenu to the SolidWorks menu called "VTK Import for Solid Edge" containing these new commands. This submenu is located in the Applications -> Add-Ins submenu. Simply click on the menu items in this sub menu to run these new commands.
The new commands are:
1) Import - Imports a VTK file
2) Help - Display the VTK Import for SolidWorks help file
3) Register - Display the VTK Import for SolidWorks product registration dialog box
4) About - Display the VTK Import for SolidWorks about box
Note: The "VTK Import for SolidWorks" submenu is available only when a document (part, assembly, etc.) is open. This is due to the way SolidWorks is designed.
