VTK Export for KeyCreator - Vizualization Toolkit VTK file export add-in
for KeyCreator
This is the VTK Export for KeyCreator ReadMe file.
VTK Export for Solid Edge is an add-in for KeyCreator
Installation:
=============
The installer adds VTK Export for KeyCreator to the list of available add-ins installed for KeyCreator. To verify whether VTK Export for KeyCreator has been properly loaded into KeyCreator invoke the "Add-In Manager" by clicking on the "Applications" menu, then "Add-Ins" and finally "Add-In Manager". Verify that "VTK Export for KeyCreator" is present in the list of "Available Add-Ins" and make sure that its check box is checked.
If "VTK Export for KeyCreator" cannot be found in the list of "Available Add-ins", then you will have to manually load the add-in into the KeyCreator environment. This can be done by closing all KeyCreator sessions and clicking the "Manually Load Add-in" shortcut placed in the Start Menu (Start -> Programs -> SYCODE -> VTK Export for KeyCreator -> Manually Load Add-in".
Now VTK Export for KeyCreator is ready for use.
Usage:
======
VTK Export for KeyCreator adds new commands to KeyCreator. It also adds a submenu to the KeyCreator menu called "VTK Export for Solid Edge" containing these new commands. This submenu is located in the Applications -> Add-Ins submenu. Simply click on the menu items in this sub menu to run these new commands.
The new commands are:
1) Export - Exports a VTK file
2) Help - Display the VTK Export for KeyCreator help file
3) Register - Display the VTK Export for KeyCreator product registration dialog box
4) About - Display the VTK Export for KeyCreator about box
Note: The "VTK Export for KeyCreator" submenu is available only when a document (part, assembly, etc.) is open. This is due to the way KeyCreator is designed.
