VTK Export for Inventor - Vizualization Toolkit VTK file export add-in for Inventor


This tutorial provides the necessary information and hands-on experience to help you get started with VTK Export for Inventor.


Step 1: Start Inventor.

Step 2: Open the file "C:\Program Files\SYCODE\VTK Export for Inventor\Samples\Piston.sat".

Step 3: Click the Export button on the "Add-Ins" ribbon bar.

Step 4: The Inventor "Save As" dialog box is displayed. Enter the name of a VTK file and click Save.

Step 6: The "VTK Export Options" dialog box is displayed. Set the options as shown below and click OK.

The model will be exported to the VTK file you specified.
