This tutorial provides the necessary information and hands-on experience to help you get started with STL Export for Bricscad.


Step 1: Start Bricscad.

Step 2: Click Open from the File menu. The Open Drawing dialog box is displayed. Select the file C:\Program Files\SYCODE\STL Export for Bricscad\Samples\Sample 1.dwg and click Open.

Step 3: Select Export from the STLExport  menu or type STLExport at the Bricscad command prompt and press Enter.

Step 4: At the Select Entities prompt, type or select the objects or the entities that you wish to export and press Enter when done.

Step 5: The Bricscad Save As dialog box is displayed. Enter the name of the STL file and click Save.

Step 6: The STL Export for Bricscad Options dialog box is displayed. Select the STL type of file as required and click Ok or if the STL type of file is not selected click Cancel.

The model will be exported to the STL file you specified.
