SKP Export for SolidWorks is a SketchUp SKP file export add-in for SolidWorks®. This add-in gives SolidWorks the ability to export 3D solid data from a SolidWorks part and assembly document to objects in a SketchUp SKP file. SKP Export for SolidWorks is very easy to use. It adds new commands to SolidWorks. Once installed, it automatically loads itself into SolidWorks and adds a new menu called "SKPExport" to the SolidWorks menu containing these newly added commands. |

Basically, the license key is specific to the computer's Host ID (the MAC address of the computer), and will not work on another computer. The installer picks up the physical MAC address of the network card connected to the computer which is basically “Ethernet adapter Network Connect Adapter”. So unless you change your network card, the key will always work even if you reinstall your operating system. If your internal network is periodically assigning a different Host ID to your computer, then please find a solution for this with your IT department. The SKP File Format SketchUp is a 3D modeling program designed for architects, civil engineers, filmmakers, game developers, and related professions. It also includes features to facilitate the placement of models in Google Earth. It is marketed as an easy-to-use conceptual tool with a simple interface. A well known feature in the SketchUp World is the 3D Warehouse. Users can use their Google Accounts to upload models, and then browse the 3D Warehouse for many components and models.
