Pro/ENGINEER Import for AutoCAD - Pro/ENGINEER file Import plug-in for AutoCAD

This tutorial provides the necessary information and hands-on experience to help you get started with Pro/ENGINEER Import for AutoCAD.

Step 1: Start AutoCAD.

Step 2: Select Import from the "ProENGINEERImport" menu or type ProENGINEERImport at the AutoCAD command prompt and press Enter.

Step 3: The AutoCAD "Open" dialog box is displayed. Browse for the file located at C:\Program Files\SYCODE\Pro ENGINEER Import for AutoCAD\Samples\drawing.drw and click Open.

Note: To import a sample part file browse for the Pro/ENGINEER part file located at C:\Program Files\SYCODE\Pro ENGINEER Import for AutoCAD\Samples\Parts\

Step 4: The "Pro/ENGINEER Import for AutoCAD Options" dialog box is displayed. Select the options as required and click OK.
