Pro/ENGINEER 2D Import for SolidWorks is a Pro/ENGINEER 2D drawing file import add-in for SolidWorks. This add-in gives SolidWorks the ability to import Pro/ENGINEER 2D drawings into SolidWorks. Pro/ENGINEER 2D Import for SolidWorks reads 2D geometric data from Pro/ENGINEER 2D drawings and creates corresponding 2D entities in a new SolidWorks drawing document. Colors, layers, dimensions, etc. are maintained across the translation thereby yielding an accurate SolidWorks representation of the Pro/ENGINEER drawing. Pro/ENGINEER 2D Import for SolidWorks is very easy to use. Once installed, it must be loaded into the SolidWorks environment. There are simple instructions for this in the ReadMe file. Once loaded it adds new commands to SolidWorks's existing commands and a new submenu called "ProENGINEER2DImport" to the SolidWorks menu containing the newly added commands. |
