Points Import for SolidWorks - Point file import add-in for SolidWorks

This tutorial provides the necessary information and hands-on experience to help you get started with Points Import for SolidWorks.

Step 1: Start SolidWorks.

Step 2: Select Import from the PointsImport menu.

Step 3: The Point File dialog box is displayed. Browse for the file C:\Program Files\SYCODE\Points Import for SolidWorks\Samples\Crater.txt.

Step 4: Select the format and delimiters from the "Point File" dialog box and click OK.

Step 4: The Points Import for SolidWorks Options dialog box is displayed. Set the options as shown below and click  OK.
