Points Import for SolidWorks - Point file import add-in for SolidWorks

Menu Button: PointsImport > Import

The Import command imports point coordinate data from point files into SolidWorks.

To Import a Point file

1. Select Import from the PointsImport menu.

2. The Point File dialog box is displayed. Browse for the Point file you wish to import and click Open.

3. Select the format and delimiters from the "Point File" dialog box and click OK.

Note: If the points are not visible in the SolidWorks drawing window, please right click on "3DSketch1" in the feature tree on the left and select "Zoom to Selection".
