Points Import for IntelliCAD - Point Text file import plug-in for IntelliCAD

This tutorial provides the necessary information and hands-on experience to help you get started with Points Import for IntelliCAD.


Step 1: Start IntelliCAD.

Step 2: Select Import from the PointsImport menu or type PointsImport at the IntelliCAD command prompt and press Enter.

Step 3: The IntelliCAD Point File dialog box is displayed. Browse for the file C:\Program Files\SYCODE\Points Import for IntelliCAD\Samples\Crater.txt and click Open.

Step 4: After you click Open, the Point File dialog box is displayed again. Select format and delimiters as shown below and click OK to continue.

Step 5: The Points Import for IntelliCAD Options dialog box is displayed. Set the options as shown below and click OK. (You can also try different options available and check the results).

The below figure shows the final result.

In the above figure, a point file has been imported selecting the above options.

This tutorial shows the ease at which a point file can be imported in IntelliCAD.
