Points Import for IntelliCAD - A Point Text file Import plug-in for IntelliCAD


This tutorial provides the necessary information and hands-on experience to help you get started with Points Import for AutoCAD.



Step 1: Start AutoCAD.

Step 2: Select Import from the PointsImport menu or type PointsImport at the AutoCAD command prompt and press Enter.

Step 3:  The AutoCAD Point File dialog box is displayed. Browse for the file C:\Program Files\SYCODE\Points Import for AutoCAD\Samples\Crater.txt and click Open.

Step 4: After you click Open the Point File dialog box is displayed again. Select format and delimiters as shown below and click OK to continue.

Step 5: The Points Import for AutoCAD Options dialog box is displayed. Set the options as shown below and click OK. (You can also try different options available and check the results).
