Points Export for
IntelliCAD is a Point Text file export plug-in for IntelliCAD®. This
plug-in gives IntelliCAD powered applications and the ability to export
point data to text files.
Points Export for IntelliCAD reads point objects in an IntelliCAD
drawing and writes it out to a text file in the XYZ to YXZ format. The
point coordiantes can be delimited by standard delimiters such as comma,
space, tab, semicolon or a custom delimiter. Points Export for
IntelliCAD can also extract points from other objects such as end
points of curves, centers of circles/arcs/ellipses, vertices of
polylines, meshes, etc. Apart from writing out a text file containing
the point coordinates, Points
Export for IntelliCAD can even create point objects corresponding to
the coordinates in the current drawing.
Points Export for IntelliCAD
is very easy to use. Once installed, it must be loaded into the
IntelliCAD environment. Follow the simple instructions in the Getting
Started document which can be found in the installation folder. Once
loaded it adds new commands to IntelliCAD's existing commands and a new
submenu called "PointsExport" to the IntelliCAD menu containing these
newly added commands.

Installation & Usage
Since Points Export
for IntelliCAD is a plug-in for IntelliCAD powered applications, it
must be loaded into the application's environment before it can be used.
Please follow the simple instructions in the Points Export for
IntelliCAD Getting Started document which is copied into the
installation folder. After you have loaded the plug-in file into the
IntelliCAD powered application, simply click on the menu items in the "PointsExport"
submenu to run these new commands. Truly,

The Points File Format
A Point file format is basically a text file containing the x, y
and z coordinates of a point on each line. Usually the
coordinates are stored in the XYZ. However, points are sometimes
stored in the YXZ order. This is common in survey data where
the YXZ order is referred to Northing, Easting and Elevation.
Here is an example of a point file with points stored in the XYZ
order.
