Points Export for IntelliCAD - A Point Text file export plug-in for IntelliCAD

This tutorial provides the necessary information and hands-on experience to help you get started with Points Export for IntelliCAD.


Step 1: Start IntelliCAD.

Step 2: Open the file from the IntelliCAD File menu. Browse for the file typically located at C:\Program Files\SYCODE\Points Export for IntelliCAD\Samples\Sample 1.dwg and click Open.

Step 3: Select Export from the PointsExport menu or type PointsExport at the command prompt and press Enter.

Step 4: The IntelliCAD file Save As dialog box is displayed. Enter the name of a Point file and click Save.

Step 5: The Points Export for IntelliCAD Options dialog box is displayed. Set the options as desired and click OK.

Step 6: At the Select entities prompt, select the objects that you wish to export. Press Enter when done.



The model will be exported to the Points file you specified.
