NC Import for Rhino - Numeric Control NC program file import plug-in for Rhinoceros

NC Import for Rhino is a Numeric Control NC program (.nc) file import plug-in for Rhinoceros® 3.0 and 4.0. This plug-in gives Rhino the ability to import toolpath data from NC program files.

CNC Machines worldwide use Numeric Control (.nc, .ncc or .cnc) files to convert programmed instructions to tool movement. NC programs consist of a sequence of codes with parameter data to arrive at a precise description of the toolpath. NC Import for Rhino reads NC program files and recreates the toolpath. The tool movements programmed in NC files are converted in into corresponding line, arc or circle objects and added to the active drawing in Rhino.

NC Import for Rhino is designed to be extremely user friendly and easy to understand. Once installed, it automatically loads itself into the Rhino environment. If automatic loading fails there are manual loading instructions in the ReadMe file. Once loaded it adds new commands to Rhino's existing commands and a new submenu called "NCImport" to the Rhino menu containing these newly added commands.
