NC Import for Bricscad - Numeric Control NC program file import plug-in for Bricscad

NC Import for Bricscad is a Numeric Control NC program (.nc) file import plug-in for Bricscad®. This plug-in gives Bricscad the ability to import toolpath data from NC program files.

CNC Machines worldwide use Numeric Control (.nc, .ncc or .cnc) files to convert programmed instructions to tool movement. NC programs consist of a sequence of codes with parameter data to arrive at a precise description of the toolpath. NC Import for Bricscad reads NC program files and recreates the toolpath. The tool movements programmed in NC files are converted in into corresponding line, arc or circle objects and added to the active drawing in Bricscad.

NC Import for Bricscad is very easy to use. Once installed, it must be loaded into the Bricscad environment. There are simple instructions for this in the ReadMe document which can be found in the installation folder. Once loaded it adds new commands to Bricscad's existing commands and a new submenu called "NCImport" to the Bricscad menu containing these newly added commands.

NC Import for Bricscad comes with detailed documentation as well as a tutorial to get you started in the shortest possible time.
