MeshCAD for Rhino - Mesh creation, editing and modeling plug-in for Rhinoceros
 

     Menu Button       MeshCAD > Vertex > Rotate
     Command       MCRotateVertex


This
command rotates a vertex by a certain angle about a rotation axis. Rotation is carried out using the Right Hand Rule.

To rotate a vertex
1. At the Select mesh vertices prompt, select the vertices to be rotated.
2. At the
Start point of rotation axis prompt, pick a start point for the rotation axis.
3. At the
End point of rotation axis prompt, pick an end point for the rotation axis.
4. At the
Rotation angle prompt, specify the rotation angle.


In Fig.A, the point marked in yellow is the vertex to be rotated.
The rotation axis is shown as a straight line with start point (blue) and end point (pink) (Angle=20)
 Fig.B shows the vertex rotation.

Note:
·  To deselect a chosen vertex, press Control and click the vertex.
