MeshCAD for Rhino - Mesh creation, editing and modeling plug-in for Rhinoceros
 

This command replaces co-planar adjacent mesh faces with a single-planar trim nurbs surface. This is far more advanced than Rhino's Mesh To Nurbs command as it significantly reduces the number of faces in the resulting solid.

To convert a mesh to solid
1. At the Select mesh (DeleteOriginalMesh) prompt, specify delete original mesh as required and select the mesh.

Fig.A shows a mesh.
Fig.B shows the mesh converted to a solid.
