This
command evens out vertices
thereby relaxing the mesh. The vertices are moved relative to each
other so that the general topology of the resulting mesh is smoother.
The extent of smoothing can be controlled by setting the smooth
percentage.
To smooth a vertex
1. At the Select
mesh vertices (SmoothPercentage)
prompt, select the vertices to smooth.
Fig.A shows the vertices
to be smoothened.
Fig.B shows the
same vertices after smoothening with a smooth percentage of 30.
Note:
·
To
deselect a chosen vertex, press Control
and click the vertex.
