MeshCAD for Rhino - Mesh creation, editing and modeling plug-in for Rhinoceros

     Command       MCOffsetMesh


This command offsets a selected mesh to a specified distance. The offset distance determines the extent of offset. A higher accuracy results in a smooth, high resolution mesh, whereas a lower accuracy results in a coarse, low resolution mesh.

To offset a mesh
1. At the Select mesh (OffsetDistance) prompt, specify the offset distance and select the mesh to be offset.


In Fig.A the highlighted mesh is to be offset.
Fig.B shows the same mesh after the offset mesh command with an
OffsetDistance=2
