MeshCAD for Rhino - Mesh creation, editing and modeling plug-in for Rhinoceros

     Command       MCOffsetFace


This command moves a face along the direction of the face normal by the offset distance. The offset distance can be positive as well as negative. A positive offset value will offset the face along the face normal, whereas a negative value will offset the face in a direction opposite to the face normal.

To offset a face
1. At the Select mesh faces (OffsetDistance) prompt, select the faces to be offset.


In Fig.A the highlighted face is to be offset.
Fig.B shows the same face after the offset face command with an
OffsetDistance=2

Note:
·  To deselect a chosen face, press Control and click the face.
