MeshCAD for Rhino - Mesh creation, editing and modeling plug-in for Rhinoceros

      MeshCAD > Modeling > Offset > Edge
     Command       MCOffsetEdge


This command moves an edge along the direction of the edge normal by the offset distance. The offset distance can be positive as well as negative. A positive offset value will offset the edge along the edge normal, whereas a negative value will offset the edge in a direction opposite to the edge normal.

To offset an edge
1. At the Select mesh edges (OffsetDistance) prompt, select the edges to be offset.


In Fig.A the highlighted edge is to be offset.
Fig.B shows the same edge after the offset edge command with an
OffsetDistance=2

Note:
·  To deselect a chosen edge, press Control and click the edge.
