MeshCAD for Rhino - Mesh creation, editing and modeling plug-in for Rhinoceros

     Command       MCSliceMesh


This command  slices a mesh using a slice thickness along a slicing plane.

To slice a mesh
1. At the Select mesh (SliceThickness CapHoles DeleteOriginalMesh) prompt, select the mesh to slice.
2. At the Slicing plane base point prompt, choose a point on the slicing plane.
3. At the Direction perpendicular to slicing planes prompt, choose a point as required.


Fig.A shows a mesh to be sliced along a slicing plane (Base point is marked in pink) and perpendicular direction (Black line).

shows the sliced mesh with SliceThickness=1  CapHoles=Yes  DeleteOriginalMesh=Yes
