MeshCAD for Rhino - Mesh creation, editing and modeling plug-in for Rhinoceros

     Command       MCShellMesh


This command shells a mesh (internally, externally or both) to result in two sets of faces separated by a distance equal to the wall thickness

To shell a mesh
1. At the Select mesh (WallThickness ShellType) prompt, select the mesh to shell.


Fig.A shows a mesh to be shelled.
Fig.B shows a shelled mesh.(Wallthickness:1 ShellType: Internal)

Note:
·  To get accurate results, the faces of the original mesh must be facing outwards.
