MeshCAD for Rhino - Mesh creation, editing and modeling plug-in for Rhinoceros

      MeshCAD > Modeling > Extrude > Vertex
     Command       MCExtrudeVertex


This command extrudes a vertex along its vertex normal.
The vertex is first chamfered by a specified chamfer depth and extruded along the vertex normal.

To extrude a vertex
1. At the Select mesh vertex (ExtrusionDistance ChamferDepth) prompt, select the vertex to be extruded.


In Fig.A, the marked vertex is to be extruded.
Fig.B
shows the same vertex after the MCExtrudeVertex
command with an extrusion distance=1 and chamfer depth=1

Note:
·  Extrusion distance can be negative.
·  Chamfer depth must always be positive.
