MeshCAD for Rhino - Mesh creation, editing and modeling plug-in for Rhinoceros

      MeshCAD > Modeling > Extrude > Edge
     Command       MCExtrudeEdge


This command extrudes an edge along its edge normal.
The edge is first chamfered by a specified chamfer depth and then extruded along the edge normal.

To extrude an edge
1. At the Select mesh edge (ExtrusionDistance ChamferDepth) prompt, select the edge to be extruded.


In Fig.A, the marked edge is to be extruded.
Fig.B
shows the same edge after the MCExtrudeEdge
command with an extrusion distance=2 and chamfer depth=1
