MeshCAD for Rhino - Mesh creation, editing and modeling plug-in for Rhinoceros

     Menu Button

      MeshCAD > Modeling > Chamfer > Vertex
     Command       MCChamferVertex

This command cuts away a portion of the mesh surrounding a vertex. The vertex is chamfered along the vertex normal by a chamfer depth and the resulting hole can be filled.
This command is mainly used to remove sharpness formed by vertices.

To chamfer a vertex
1. At the Select mesh vertex (ChamferDepth FillHole) prompt, select the vertex to be chamfered.

In Fig.A, the marked vertex is to be chamfered.
Fig.B shows the chamfered vertex.
