MeshCAD for Rhino - Mesh creation, editing and modeling plug-in for Rhinoceros

     Menu Button

      MeshCAD > Modeling > Chamfer > Edge
     Command       MCChamferEdge

This command cuts away a portion of the mesh surrounding an edge.
The edge is chamfered along the edge normal by a chamfer depth and the resulting hole can be filled. This command is mainly used to remove sharpness formed by edges.

To chamfer an edge
1. At the Select mesh edge (ChamferDepth FillHole) prompt, select the edge to be chamfered.

In Fig.A, the marked edge is to be chamfered.
Fig.B
shows the same edge after the MCChamferEdge
command.
