MeshCAD for Rhino - Mesh creation, editing and modeling plug-in for Rhinoceros

      MeshCAD > Mesh > Break Quads
     Command       MCBreakQuads


This command breaks quad faces into triangle faces.
A quad face is broken down by creating an edge joining the first and third vertices, thereby yielding a pair of triangle faces.

To break quads
1. At the Select mesh prompt, select the mesh.


Fig.A shows the original mesh.
Fig.B shows the change in the mesh. The yellow lines are the new edges that are formed.
