MeshCAD for Rhino - Mesh creation, editing and modeling plug-in for Rhinoceros
 

This command breaks a quad face into triangle faces. The quad face is broken down by joining two opposite vertices with an edge, thereby yielding a pair of triangle faces.

To break quad
1. At the Select mesh faces prompt, select the quad faces to be broken.

In Fig.A, the marked quad face is selected.
Fig.B shows the change in the quad face.

Note:
·  To deselect a chosen face, press Control and click the face.
