MeshCAD for Rhino - Mesh creation, editing and modeling plug-in for Rhinoceros

      MeshCAD > Face > Add
     Command       MCAddFace


This command adds a triangle or quad face to a mesh. The orientation of the added face is determined by the Right Hand Rule.

To add a face
1. At the Select mesh prompt, select the mesh to which faces have to be added.
2. At the Face 1, Select first vertex location prompt, select the first vertex location.
3. At the Face 1, Select second vertex location prompt, select the second point.
4. At the Face 1, Select third vertex location prompt, select the third point.
5. At the Face 1, Select fourth vertex location, Press Enter for 3 sided face prompt, select the fourth point or press Enter to add a triangle face.
6. To add another face to the same mesh, At the Face 2, Select first vertex location prompt, select the first vertex point and repeat step 3, 4 and 5 or press Enter to exit.


Fig.A shows a mesh with a hole.
Fig.B shows the added face.

Note:
·  To deselect a chosen face, press Control and click the face.
