MeshCAD for Rhino - Mesh creation, editing and modeling plug-in for Rhinoceros

     Menu Button

      MeshCAD > Extract > Surfaces
     Command       MCExtractSurfaces

This command creates a new mesh object for each surface of a mesh.
The surfaces to be extracted are determined by the feature angle. If the angle between two adjacent faces is greater than or equal to the feature angle then the mesh is split along the shared edge of the faces. After splitting is complete, the faces that are still connected are assembled together to form the new surfaces.

To extract surfaces
1. At the Select mesh (FeatureAngle DeleteOriginalMesh) prompt, select a mesh.

Note:
·  A feature angle of 0 will disintegrate the mesh into its individual faces.
