MeshCAD for Rhino - Mesh creation, editing and modeling plug-in for Rhinoceros
 

     Menu Button       MeshCAD > Edge > Swap
     Command       MCSwapEdge


This command swaps an edge.
Only edges shared by two triangle faces can be swapped. After the edge is swapped it is no longer defined by its original vertices.

To swap an edge
1. At the Select mesh edges prompt, select the edges to be swapped.


In the above figure, the edge to be swapped is marked. Notice the positioning of the edge.


In the above figure, notice the edge after the swap edge command.

Note:
· For the MCSwapEdge command, the edge must connect two triangular faces.
· To deselect a chosen edge, press Control and click the edge.
