MeshCAD for Rhino - Mesh creation, editing and modeling plug-in for Rhinoceros

     Menu Button

      MeshCAD > Edge > Remove
     Command       MCRemoveEdge

This command removes an edge connecting two triangle faces, replacing them by a single quad face. This command differs from the MCDeleteEdge command in the sense that it does not create a hole in the mesh.

To remove an edge
1. At the Select mesh edges prompt, select the edges to be removed.

Fig.A shows the edge that is to be removed. It connects two triangular faces.

Fig.B shows the two triangular faces are now a single quad face.

Note:
· For the MCRemoveEdge command, the edge must connect two triangular faces.
· To deselect a chosen edge, press Control and click the edge.
