Mesh To Solid for Rhino - Polygon mesh to solid conversion plug-in for Rhinoceros


In this tutorial we will learn how to convert a mesh into a solid.


Step 1: Start Rhino

Step 2: Click Open from the Rhino menu. Browse for a file located at C:\Program Files\SYCODE\Mesh To Solid for Rhino\Samples\Sample 2.3dm and click Open.


The above figure shows a mesh before converting into a solid.


Step 3: Run the Convert command from the "MeshToSolid" menu or type MSConvert at the Rhino command prompt.

Step 4: At the Rhino command prompt Select meshes, set the DeleteOriginalMesh option, select the meshes and press Enter.

The mesh is converted into a solid having the same color and layer as the original mesh and the result of the operation is reported in the command window. This is shown in the below figure.
