Mesh Converter - Software to Convert Mesh Files

In this tutorial we will learn how to convert a Rhinoceros 3DM mesh file into an AutoCAD 2007 DWG file.


Step 1: Start Mesh Converter (if you haven't already)

Step 2: Click the Browse button next to the Input File Name edit box. The Open dialog box is displayed. Select the file "Sample 1.3dm" (typically located at C:\Program Files\SYCODE\Mesh Converter 1.0\Samples\Sample 1.3dm) and click Open.

Step 3: Click the Browse button next to the Output File Name edit box. The Save As dialog box is displayed. Enter "Sample 1.dwg" as the file name and click Save.

 

Step 4: Click the Options button. The Options dialog box is displayed. Set the AutoCAD File Version to "AutoCAD 2007/2008/2009" and click OK.

The file will be converted and the conversion result will be displayed in the File Conversion Status box.
