Mesh Booleans for AutoCAD - Mesh boolean modeling plug-in for AutoCAD
 

In this tutorial we will use the 'subtract' boolean operation.


Step 1: Start AutoCAD if you haven't already.

Step 2: Open the file 'C:\Program Files\SYCODE\Mesh Booleans for AutoCAD\Samples\Sample 2.dwg'

Step 3: Run the MBSubtract command.

Step 4: Select the cylinder and then select the spheres to be subtracted.

The below figure shows the change in the mesh when one is subtracted from the other.

 

In the next tutorial we will learn how to use the MBIntersect command.
