MBSubtract |
This command
subtracts one set of meshes or solids from another.
To Subtract
1. At the Select meshes and solids to subtract from prompt,
select the first set of objects from which the other set has to be
subtracted and press Enter.
2. At the Select meshes and solids to subtract prompt, select the
second set of meshes
and/or solids and press Enter.

The box is selected first and then the sphere.
Note: You can use the
MBOptions command to customize the working of this command. The
MBOptions command gives you the flexibility to choose the output of the
boolean operation.
