IGES STEP Converter - Software to Convert IGES STEP Files

In this tutorial we will learn how to convert an IGES file into a STEP file.

Step 1: Start IGES STEP Converter (if you haven't already)

Step 2: Click the Browse button next to the Input File Name edit box. The Open dialog box is displayed. Select the file "Sample 3.igs" (typically located at C:\Program Files\SYCODE\IGES STEP Converter\Samples\Sample 3.igs) and click Open.

Step 3: Click the Browse button next to the Output File Name edit box. The Save As dialog box is displayed. Enter "Sample 3.step" as the file name and click Save.

The file will be converted and the conversion result will be displayed in the Status box.
