DWG Import for SpaceClaim - AutoCAD DWG file import add-in for SpaceClaim

DWG Import for SpaceClaim is an AutoCAD DWG file import add-in for SpaceClaim. It gives SpaceClaim the ability to import mesh objects from AutoCAD DWG files as solids models in SpaceClaim.

SpaceClaim already has an AutoCAD DWG import feature. However, this import feature imports only 3D solid objects and ignored polyface mesh, polygon mesh and 3d face objects in DWG files. DWG Import for SpaceClaim removes this limitation by giving SpaceClaim the ability to read polyface mesh, polygon mesh and 3d face objects from DWG files and creates corresponding 3d solid models in a SpaceClaim document which can be edited by SpaceClaim's direct editing tools.

DWG Import for SpaceClaim is very easy to use. It adds new commands to SpaceClaim. Once installed, it automatically loads itself into SpaceClaim and adds a ribbon bar to the SpaceClaim called "SYCODE" containing the newly added commands.
