DWG Export for SolidWorks - AutoCAD DWG file export add-in for SolidWorks
 

This tutorial provides the necessary information and hands-on experience to help you get started with DWG Export for SolidWorks.


Step 1: Start SolidWorks (if you haven't already).

Step 2: Select Open from the File menu. You will be presented with the Open File dialog box. Browse for the file typically located in ("C:\Program Files\SYCODE\DWG Export for SolidWorks\Samples\Handle.SLDASM") and click Open. 

Step 3: Select Export from the DWGExport menu.

Step 4: The SolidWorks Save As dialog box is displayed. Enter the name of a DWG file and click Save.

Step 5: The DWG Export for SolidWorks Options dialog box is displayed. Set the options as desired and click Ok.

The DWG file will be created in the location you specified.
