DWG Export for SpaceClaim - AutoCAD DWG file export add-in for SpaceClaim
DWG Export for SpaceClaim
is an AutoCAD DWG file export add-in for SpaceClaim.
This add-in gives SpaceClaim the ability to export 3D solid data from a
SpaceClaim part and assembly document to 3d solids in an AutoCAD DWG
file.
SpaceClaim already has the ability to export AutoCAD DWG files. However
the DWG export feature ignores solids and surfaces and only exports
curves, thus making the DWG file practically useless for 3D modeling in
AutoCAD or other programs that can read solids from DWG files.
DWG Export for SpaceClaim
removes this limitation by giving SpaceClaim the ability to export
solids to AutoCAD DWG files.
DWG Export for SpaceClaim
is very easy to use. It adds new commands to SpaceClaim. Once installed,
it automatically loads itself into SpaceClaim and adds a new ribbon bar
to SpaceClaim called "DWGExport" containing the newly added commands.
