This tutorial provides the necessary information and hands-on experience to help you get started with DWG Export for Alibre Design.


Step 1: Start Alibre Design.

Step 2: Click Import from the File menu. The Alibre Design's Import File dialog box is displayed. Browse for a file typically located at "C:\Program Files\DWG Export for Alibre Design\Samples\Piston.sat" and click Open.

Step 3: The Alibre Design's Import File Options dialog box is displayed. Set the options as desired and click Ok.

Step 4: Select Export from the DWGExport menu.

Step 5: The Alibre Design Save As dialog box is displayed. Enter the name of a DWG file and click Save.

Step 6: The DWG Export for Alibre Design Options dialog box is displayed. Set the options as desired and click Ok.

The DWG file will be created in the location you specified.
