DWG DXF Converter - DWG DXF Converter Standalone Software

In this tutorial we will learn how to convert a DWG file into a DXF file.


Step 1: Start DWG DXF Converter (if you haven't already)

Step 2: Click the Browse button next to the Input File Name edit box. The Open dialog box is displayed. Select the file "AutoCAD 2007.dwg" (typically located at C:\Program Files\SYCODE\DWG DXF Converter 1.0\Samples\AutoCAD 2007.dwg) and click Open.

Step 3: Click the Browse button next to the Output File Name edit box. The Save As dialog box is displayed. Enter "AutoCAD 2007.dxf" as the file name and click Save.

Step 4: Set the Output File Version to "AutoCAD 2007/2008" and click Convert. The file will be converted and the conversion result will be displayed in the File Conversion Status box.
