CATIA V5 Import for SolidWorks - CATIA V5 file import add-in for SolidWorks

CATIAV5Import > Import

This command is used to import CATIA V5 files into SolidWorks.


To Import a CATIA V5 file

1. Select Import from the "CATIAV5Import" menu.

2. The SolidWorks "Open" dialog box is displayed. Browse for the CATIA V5 file you wish to import and click Open.

3. The "CATIA V5 Import for SolidWorks Options" dialog box is displayed. Select the options as required and click OK.

Note: SolidWorks 2001 and earlier do not support multi-body parts. If the CATIA V5 file comprises of more than one object, only the first one will be imported and the others will be ignored.
