CATIA V4 Import for SolidWorks is an add-in for SolidWorks

 

Installation:

CATIA V4 Import for SolidWorks has to be loaded into SolidWorks before it can be used. The installer adds CATIA V4 Import for SolidWorks to the list of existing add-ins installed for SolidWorks. To load CATIA V4 Import for SolidWorks carry out the following steps:

 

(1) Select Add-Ins from the Tools menu.

    The list of installed, compatible software shows in the Add-Ins dialog box.

(2) From the list, select "CATIA V4 Import for SolidWorks" by checking its check box.

(3) Click OK.

 

Now CATIA V4 Import for SolidWorks is ready for use.

 

Usage:

======

CATIA V4 Import for SolidWorks adds new commands to SolidWorks. It also adds a sub menu to the SolidWorks menu called "CATIAV4Import". Simply click on the menu items in this sub menu to run these new commands. The new commands are:

 

1) Import - Import a CAITA V4 file

2) Help - Display the CATIA V4 Import for SolidWorks help file

3) Register - Register your copy of CATIA V4 Import for SolidWorks

4) About - Display the CATIA V4 Import for SolidWorks about box
