CATIA V4 Import for SolidWorks - CATIA V4 file import add-in for SolidWorks

CATIAV4Import > Import

This command is used to import CATIA V4 part and assembly files into SolidWorks

To Import a CATIA V4 file

1. Select Import from the "CATIAV4Import" menu.

2. The SolidWorks "Open" dialog box is displayed. Browse for the CATIA V4 file you wish to import and click Open.

3. The "CATIA V4 Import for SolidWorks Options" dialog box is displayed. Select the options as required and click Ok.

Note: SolidWorks 2001 and earlier do not support multi-body parts. If the CATIA V4 file comprises of more than one object, only the first one will be imported and the others will be ignored.
