3DS Import for SolidWorks - 3D Studio 3DS file import add-in for SolidWorks


This tutorial provides the necessary information and hands-on experience to help you get started with 3DS Import for SolidWorks.


Step 1: Start SolidWorks.

Step 2: Select Import from the 3DSImport menu.

Step 3: The SolidWorks Open dialog box is displayed. Browse for the file C:\Program Files\SYCODE\3DS Import for SolidWorks\Samples\Sample 1.3ds and click Open.

Step 4: The 3DS Import for SolidWorks Options dialog box is displayed. Set the options as shown below and click OK.
