3DS Export for SolidWorks - 3D Studio 3DS file export add-in for SolidWorks

 3DS Export for SolidWorks is an add-in for SolidWorks


Installation:
============

3DS Export for SolidWorks has to be loaded into SolidWorks before it can be used. The installer adds 3DS Export for SolidWorks to the list of existing add-ins installed for SolidWorks. To load 3DS Export for SolidWorks carry out the following steps:

(1) Select Add-Ins from the Tools menu.

The list of installed, compatible software shows in the Add-Ins dialog box.

(2) From the list, select "3DS Export for SolidWorks" by checking its check box.
(3) Click OK.

Now 3DS Export for SolidWorks is ready for use.


Usage:
=====

3DS Export for SolidWorks adds new commands to SolidWorks. It also adds a sub menu called "3DSExport" to the SolidWorks Part and Assembly menus. Simply click on the menu items in this sub menu to run these new commands. The new commands are:

1) Export - Export meshes to a 3DS file
2) Help - Display the 3DS Export for SolidWorks help file
3) Register - Register your copy of 3DS Export for SolidWorks
4) About - Display the 3DS Export for SolidWorks about box
